What might a client feel stands out about your company that would make them recommend you to family or friends?
AJC Advisors is a family owned and operated business and takes pride in the reputation we have built for unsurpassed loyalty to, and likewise from, our clients. Our staff has many years of experience from various disciplines in the tax and financial environments. The Founder and Vice President of our business is my father, Angelo Coscia. Angelo has an extraordinary 50-plus years of expertise as a tax specialist and business consultant. As President, I have learned a great many things from my father, including the importance of honest and dedicated service to our clients. At AJC Advisors we believe that servicing our clients at the level of excellence they have come to expect will always be our priority. In fact, it has been this simple philosophy that has allowed our business to grow and continue to thrive for nearly a half century, and our loyal and dedicated clients to confidently refer our services to their closest friends and family.
What sets your practice apart from your competition?
At AJC Advisors, we believe that personal attention to every aspect of a client’s financial well-being is paramount. We are fortunate to be able to address any financial concerns a client may have. In that respect, we provide full comprehensive planning which includes, but is not limited to, income tax preparation and advice, estate and gift tax guidance, estate and retirement planning, as well as life, long-term care and disability insurance advice. In addition, our in-house counsel specializes in wills and trusts, health care proxies, elder care and probate and trust administration. Lastly, and most importantly, AJC Advisors is proud of the personal face-to-face service we offer to all clients, which reinforces the TRUST we have worked so hard to establish.
What aspect of your profession inspired you to take this direction?
After many years of affiliations with large companies, whose primary focus seemed to be on profit and loss rather than client benefit, we felt it our obligation to treat clients more like family than commodities. From that simple philosophical approach, we feel it is much easier to fulfill the financial goals and expectations of our clients. In fact, one recurring theme we hear from existing clients is that they refer us to their friends and family because of the personal interaction and attention they receive from our staff. We are cognizant that our lifeline to growth and success is the continued confidence our clients bestow upon us. We are committed to maintaining that same focus, 47 years and counting at our Staten Island location, and now in our New Jersey office.
