How would you describe your philosophy?
In plastic surgery, we are called upon not only to heal the human body, but often the soul as well. My goal is to understand and empathize with you and then offer my best solution to help you feel better about yourself.
What sets your practice apart?
Happy, satisfied patients have much to do with my successful “word-of-mouth” reputation. It is gratifying to have patients refer friends and family because of their results and experience with me and my staff.
What do you think attracts patients to your practice?
I believe my patients come to know I truly want the best results for them and that our goal is their satisfaction and well-being. Additionally, I believe my stellar staff truly differentiates us from other practices. We work as a team to make our patients feel comfortable, at ease and confident that they are receiving the best care possible.
What words best describe your style?
Honesty, integrity, compassion, dedication and technical expertise.
What words best describe you in the operating room?
Calm, deliberate and safe.
What words best describe you in the office?
Attentive, empathetic and approachable.
Where did you receive your education and training?
I have undergraduate degrees in engineering and molecular biology from M.I.T. I went on to medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed residencies at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
How has the demand for your services changed over the years?
I am increasingly using non-surgical options to restore lost facial volume and lift drooping features, sometimes known as a liquid facelift. And, although I still perform more extensive surgical procedures, we can help reverse the signs of aging through these less invasive, more affordable and quick treatments. There are a variety of products to choose from or to combine that give patients a fresh, rested, youthful look. I have extensive experience with injectables, with great results; I even train other plastic surgeons in their use.
In what ways is your practice comprehensive?
We offer a wide array or services - from skin care to major reconstructive procedures and everything in between. Aesthetic services include microdermabrasion and IPL treatments to lessen hair growth, tighten skin tone, and remove spider veins and skin lesions. Injectable products include Juvéderm® for wrinkle reduction and lip augmentation, Botox® to smooth crow’s feet and frown lines, Radiesse® to re-volumize cheeks and fill nasolabial folds, Sculptra® to stimulate collagen production to restore youthful fullness and Artefill®, the most permanent filler option. Cosmetic surgical procedures include tummy tuck, breast augmentation, lift, and reduction, facelift, necklift, eyelid lift, body lift, rhinoplasty and liposuction. We perform skin cancer removal and reconstruction. Breast reconstruction options for breast cancer survivors include prosthetic implants and the DIEP flap, a microsurgical technique in which we are highly specialized. My surgical technique is tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient and to ensure the best aesthetic outcome. Whether you want a subtle change or a complete makeover, you will leave looking and feeling phenomenal.
