Practice Overview
BiroVenusMedical Spa, established by Abir Marcus M.D., is a state of the art center offering non-surgical, cosmetic enhancements for your face and body. Dr. Marcus has a unique medical and artistic background that allows her to help you reach your true beauty potential. Her vision in establishing BiroVenus Medical Spa was to create a unique setting in which her clients could learn about and experience the best, non-surgical skin rejuvenation and body contouring procedures known.
The center offers a wide array of services to help you achieve your full physical and emotional potential through a balanced plan. For example, our physician supervised weight management program, complemented with body contouring, spot fat reduction and skin tightening will have you looking and feeling your youthful best. We also offer different skin rejuvenating procedures for brown spots, spider veins, wrinkle reduction and skin tightening. Body contouring will permanently eliminate those stubborn areas of fat and cellulite.
There is no need to put your life on hold, or spend thousands of dollars to love the way you look. Our flexible schedule will allow you to visit us during your lunch hour, or before and after work. We make it easy and convenient for you to enjoy the friendly, relaxing environment, and achieve the look of your dreams. We are located within walking distance from the Little Silver Train Station.
What was the motivating factor for the launch of your practice?
My passion has always been to maintain an ongoing relationship with my patients to helpthem achieve a sense of well-being and satisfaction. I started my practice as an Assistant Professor and General Practitioner in a fast-paced urban university hospital, dealing with acute illnesses and injuries, while teaching medical students. This setting concentrated mainly on the physical aspects of the human body and the treatment of its ailments. During the course of completing two Board Certifications in psychiatry and various research studies, I maintained an involved practice with my patients. Doing so, I observed the connection between one’s perception of their physical appearance and the love of their inner self. Those who like themselves work on maintaining and caring for their body, and those who maintain a healthy, beautiful physique feel much better about their persona. This inspired me to seek advanced training and board certification in aesthetic medicine, and to establish BiroVenus Medical Spa rejuvenation and wellness center in 2005.

Dr. Marcus and her staff at BiroVenus Medical Spa provide optimum care through the combination of advanced science, artistic talents and in-depth human understanding. We enjoy getting to know each of our clients individually so as to tailor our services to personally fit them and their lifestyles. Our goal is to help our clients get the best results possible and to achieve their dreams in a safe and comfortable environment.
Are there new programs your practice is offering to help with patients hurt by the economy?
Yes. We have added several packages and rewards programs to fit anyone’s budget. We derive our satisfaction from helping our clients look and feel their best and thus strive to make our services affordable while maintaining our goal at BiroVenus Medical Spa to help our clients deal with life’s constant challenges.
