Company Overview

Ed Brock Sr. Started in business by picking and selling blueberries at an express wagon when he was just eight years old. With his true love for gardening and farming, in 1942 he opened the first Brock Farms location on Route 34 in Colts Neck. It quickly grew in popularity and gained a reputation among area residents for carrying fine produce, nursery and flowers. Brock Farms opened their second location on Route 9 in Freehold in 1958 and now celebrate their 70th year in business. Today, homeowners and designers know that Brock Farms has the highest quality lawn and garden supplies, seasonal products and outdoor living inventory. Visit the Freehold location for unique gift and home accessories. Two large showrooms now offer you a one-stop shop for all your backyard needs. Brock Farms has become a destination for all seasons by now boasting one of the largest Halloween & Christmas showcase collections in the county, with over 40,000 square feet of Christmas inventory as well as home design accessories.

What sets you apart from your competition?

Our customer service is by far the foremost and most important part of our business. We strongly believe that customer service is the foundation of our relationship with every person who steps into our stores. We go to great effort in carefully staffing our locations with only the most helpful, informative and polite employees. The positive impression we make on our customers will be the reason they return.

We also aim to provide our customers with honest, helpful and the most educated advice and solutions available to meet their specific goals. We hope to share the very best options with them to meet their needs. We take great pleasure in providing our customers with the best products, training and support for all their landscape and garden needs. As a family-run business residing in the heart of Monmouth County, Brock Farms firmly believes that long-term relationships with their customers -- now friends -- is the result of true honesty and outstanding customer service.

Why shop at Brock Farms?

When it comes to nurseries, annuals and perennials, no one beats the quality and selection at our two locations. We raise over 800 acres of our own nursery products. As long-time, local experts in the horticultural area, we take great pride in our home-grown products in addition to our other inventory selections. All plants proudly displayed in our nurseries are carefully chosen by a family member from suppliers from all over the country. Our two locations offer an extensive selection of plants that are all nurtured with care, ensuring you a healthy and bountiful addition to your home and garden.

In addition to our regular nursery and garden supplies inventory, we offer a truly outstanding collection of pottery, statuary, ponds, aquascapes, and a complete line of backyard garden and outdoor living design products. We aim to provide an enjoyable year-round shopping experience along with our honest, unmatched customer service.
