Overview
Dr. Young is a Board Certified Orthodontic Specialist who has been practicing in Monmouth and Ocean Counties since 1993. He was ranked #1 in his class at Georgetown University School of Dentistry. In 2009, he was voted by his peers as a “Top Orthodontist in NJ” in a New Jersey Monthly magazine poll. He is also a member of the Regional Cleft Palate Center team and a clinical instructor at Monmouth Medical Center.
Why would a current patient refer the practice to friends and colleagues?
The friendly atmosphere and individualized attention to each patient. Dr. Young and hisstaff get to know each patient and family before treatment begins. This helps make the orthodontic experience more enjoyable for the patient, and helps Dr. Young and his staff individualize the treatment for each one. Patients would also be impressed that in a 30-minute consultation appointment they would be presented with all treatment options and have all their questions answered - including financial ones. They know people are very busy these days and respect their time. The office also offers evening and Saturday hours.
What sets this practice apart from others like it?
Dr. Young has specialized training and experience in the following areas: Early intervention orthodontic treatment, cleft palate and craniofacial disorder treatment, and the new teen and adult Invisalign® technology. He prides himself on attention to detail in all his treatment modalities.
Is there anything new offered by the practice designed to help customers hurt by the economy?
We have financial solutions for all patients. We offer no interest financing for all patients spread out over their treatment time (on average 24 months). If they would like to spread out their payments over an even longer period of time, without an initial down payment, we offer a plan for that as well. We also offer a pay-in-full discount.
What advice would you give to parents with children in need of orthodontic treatment?
To start early for the best results, stability, and their child's self-esteem. This also reduces the need for extraction of permanent teeth, and allows us to finish most cases before the patient starts high school!
