Company Overview:
Mathnasium® is a learning center where students go to boost their math skills. We are highly specialized; we teach only math. Developed over 30 years by hands-on experience with thousands of children around the world, the Mathnasium® educational method is designed for children of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to significantly increase children’s math skills, understanding of math concepts and overall school performance.
What do you feel sets you apart from your competition?
Without a doubt, it’s the Mathnasium® Method. First, we give every student a comprehensive oral and written assessment to identify any gaps in knowledge. Then we prepare a customized learning plan designed to fill the gaps and to provide every student the opportunity to experience the full breadth of the Mathnasium curriculum.
During their sessions students are given individualized instruction that provides the appropriate amount of support and time to work independently on their learning plans. A significant amount of time in each Mathnasium® session is allotted for homework help as well. What’s more, all work is completed in our center under an instructor’s supervision. No work ever goes home.
At Mathnasium®, we also want our students to have fun with math. Part of our approach involves teaching children to enjoy math so students actually look forward to building their skills. Our special math games offer kids the opportunity to learn, practice, andhav e fun in the process.
