Miller Buick GMC offers their customers a high level of service in a low pressure sales environment. We appreciate the fact that our customers have busy lives, so we respect their time but we never rush through the sale. Our Sales Consultants are product specialists who will answer all our customers’ questions, which allows them to choose the right vehicle for their needs. We also respect the fact that many of our customers are on a budget today, so we work hard to give them exactly the vehicle they are looking for at the lowest price.
What was the motivating factor to launch your company?
Miller Buick GMC was founded by my grandfather, C. Gordon Miller, in August 1955. My father, Ronald B. Miller, operated the store until June 2010 at which time I, Shari Sandidge, became a third generation Miller to operate the family store as a General Motors Dealer.
Why would a current customer tell a friend or family member that they should buy from your dealership?
Miller has an excellent customer satisfaction record. Our customers often tell me that Miller provided the easiest car buying experience they have ever had.
What makes your dealership stand out among others like yours?
Miller is located on four acres and has a comfortable, large, very clean facility and a very convenient highway location just north of the Driscoll Bridge at the merge of Routes 1 & 9. We have all the wonderful attributes of a highway store, but once you walk through the door you find an extraordinarily friendly hometown attitude among our staff. You will feel very comfortable shopping for a new vehicle or servicing a vehicle at Miller.
What do you want a potential consumer to know they will experience if they purchase an automobile from your dealership?
Miller will be your partner throughout your ownership experience. We are always available to answer questions about the many technological advances on our Buicks and GMCs today, and we offer extremely competitive maintenance services. We all hope to be on a first name basis with our customers.
What aspect of your business most inspired you to take this direction?
I grew up around the car business and moved back to New Jersey in 1997 to work with my father after going to college and graduate school. The retail automobile business is fascinating. With the Internet, more and more customers are doing research and often know as much about the car they are purchasing as we do. Automobiles are a major purchase for most families and, therefore, are decisions that most customers take very seriously.
Are there new programs your dealership is offering to help customers hurt by the economy?
General Motors has been very aggressive with programs to entice consumers to purchase new Buicks and GMCs as well as certified pre-owned vehicles. We have been able to offer 0% financing on a variety of new vehicles almost the entire year. We have also offered rebates and customer cash incentives up to $7,000. Programs change every one to two months; they are always available on the homepage of our website.
