What was the motivating factor to launch your company?
The motivating factor in launching our company was our own desire to find tile for our own renovation. We found a void in Monmouth County tile stores that were not offering a high end product at a good price point. Monmouth St Tile provides clients with high end luxury tile, mosaics, marble and stone.
What do you feel sets you apart from your competition?
Only one thing: QUALITY SERVICE...our in house tile consultants have set the standard in our area in design and layout to simplify the process, from selection to the final phase of install.
Why would a current customer tell a friend or family member that they should use your services?
Our staff is knowledge in every aspect of our tile lines, reading blueprints, and drawing your project on paper to see first hand what the area will look like
What makes your company stand out among others like yours?
The stand out is in our house designers–over 50 years of combined experience.
What do you want a potential customer to know about what they will experience or take away if they decide to remodel/build a new home with your company?
The greatest take away we can offer our clients is that we don't drop the ball after the sale. We are with our clients every step of the way to final completion. We live in the community we sell.. so we want to be there for our clients today and in the future. Our business is based on referrals from our clients.
What aspect of your business most inspired you to take this direction?
To treat your clients the way you want to be treated when making a purchase... that's it, respect for the clients’ needs and budget. And, to complete the project in a timely fashion, install beautiful rooms so our clients can enjoy for years to come.
Are there new programs your company is offering to help with customers hurt by the economy?
Yes, "simplified luxury"....is the phase we use around our stores.....mixing pieces of mechanical tiles and stone with handmade pieces thus making the look exceptional without hurting the wallet.
Are there any new design trends or things you would point to that our readers should know about you or today’s home interior movement?
We are seeing a shift to modern European stylings with an old world design, using larger scales pieces set in an old world traditional application.
Is there an industry leader or someone inspirational you would like to meet and why?
I would love to have lunch with Ann Sacks.....she really inspired me to open my business. A strong independent, she was able to build her design ideas into a national brand. You have to respect that! And, she did it in a time when no one else was building a brand in our industry. Some day I hope to take our stores nationally under the Avra Karak label!
