Overview:

Sun National Bank prides itself in maintaining long-term relationships and partnerships with all of our customers. We really define what it means to be a one-stop shop. Whether  providing a mortgage for your dream home, setting up a retirement plan for your future, lending seed money to start you own business, or simply setting up a personal checking or  savings account, Sun National Bank is flexible and can provide all of these products and services at each of our branches.

What was the motivating factor for you to become the youngest branch manager in your region?

I started at Sun National Bank almost 7 years ago as a teller, with no banking experience. The second I realized how important my job was to people’s day-to-day personal and business  needs, I knew this was something I wanted to be part of. As I became more knowledgeable about the fundamentals of being a part of a successful branch, and how to service the  customers’ needs, I knew I wanted to move up in the company. It was all so interesting to me, and the best part was actually being able to help people. To see the look on customers’  faces when I gave them financial advice or steered them in the right direction was so rewarding; that is what motivated me to become a branch manager. Fast forward 6 years…after  moving through each rank in the company the next step was to run my own branch. I felt the only place I belonged in was in Colts Neck, since that is where I started my career...as a teenager.

What sets you apart from your competitors?

There are many things that set Sun National Bank apart from our competitors. The most important thing to me is that we are a local bank, with local people, making local decisions. When  you walk into my branch you are called by name; when you bank with us you are like family and are never seen as just another customer walking in the door. You can actually call us, and  you don’t have to talk to an operator or dial an 800 number. We are a community bank, priding ourselves on our commitment to servicing each customer to their specific needs. After  having the experience at banking of Sun National Bank, there is no competition.

Is there anyone whose history or actions have affected your professional life?

I would have to say my father has been the most influential person in my professional and personal life. He has always taught me to fight for what I believe in, and never give up no  matter how many obstacles are in my path. He has been an amazing role model throughout my life, and I truly feel that without him by my side I would not have acquired the leadership skills to be where I am today.
