How did you get involved in designing Audio/ Video Systems?
I started in technology when I was in college and looking for a job. I needed something that would work around my class schedule. I was always interested in technology so I got a job at one of the big box electronics retailers in the area. I started getting interested in televisions and home electronics. I then went to work for a local custom installation company. They taught me not only to design better systems, but I was also put in the field and I learned how to install and set-up more complex sound systems. This was really the turning point of my career. I started to love my job, and the challenge of making a family room, or any room, into an entertainment system without compromising the everyday use of the room. In 2008, I started my own A/V company, Surround Sound Audio Video Design & Installation.
