Holiday Hours:

Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The Grove at Shrewsbury, located in the heart of Monmouth County, opened in 1988 and is the nation’s first “lifestyle center.” The Grove is a premier  shopping destination designed with the sophisticated shopper in mind. Unlike traditional malls, The Grove provides a distinctive town center with perennial  gardens, brick walkways, flowering trees and comfortable seating areas.

The Grove offers a unique mix of local specialty retailers such as Glow and regional retailers such as Neves Jewelers, Platypus, The Papery and de Jensen Salon & Spa and national retailers such as Coach, J.Crew | crew cuts, Banana Republic and Victoria’s Secret.

What do you feel sets you apart from your competition?

Some of the nation’s top retailers have chosen The Grove as their only Monmouth County location. Retailers such as Brooks Brothers, Anthropologie, Williams Sonoma,  Pottery Barn, lululemon athletica, bluemercury, and Janie and Jack.

What makes The Grove stand out among other shopping centers?

The Grove is locally owned and community focused. Together with the support of our customers we are privileged to support many charitable organizations. The Grove  has collected over 1,000 pairs of shoes for a national charity called Soles4Souls that distributes shoes to third world countries. The Grove has collected over 800 pounds  of plastic bottle caps for Aveda recycling program and we host numerous clothing drives for the American Red Cross.

Additionally, such things as complimentary umbrellas when it’s raining, clearly marked fitness trails that loop the Grove and The Grove West; superior gardens which invite  private garden tours, picnic areas, Adirondack chairs, and distinctive fountains add to the ambiance of The Grove. It continues to attract new retailers to Monmouth  County and offer amenities just as unique as its stores.
