Frightful Frigate
Battleship New Jersey
Camden, NJ • 1 (866) 877-6262
www.battleshipnewjersey.org
This October, one of the most decorated vessels in U.S. history will be transformed into one frightful frigate. During every weekend of the month, the Battleship New Jersey will feature zombie-guided tours, as well as haunted overnight encampments for those who dare to take on the haunted crew of the longest battleship to ever serve in the U.S. Navy. Visitors will learn about the 20 awards the New Jersey achieved during its chilling tours of duty through WWII, Vietnam, and the 1980s, as well as its incredible structure that spans three football fields and includes 18’ turrets. Your younger ghosts and goblins will also be encouraged to participate in a simulated Tomahawk missile launch from the restored Combat Engagement Center. Admission is free for all active or retired military personnel.
