Feels Like Home
01/01/2005 - By Jeffrey Moser Jeffrey Moser tours the Colts Neck home of Bob and Sue Covino.
Influences from around the world abound in the home of Bob and Sue Covino. Working with their architect, the avid travelers compiled a scrapbook of spaces they loved from around the world and submitted them as a “model” for their new home. Their idea was to bring in an influence of their travels, while at the same time maintaining a “simple elegance that feels like home” and a “reflection” of themselves into the 19,985 square foot residence. Set on 11.8 landscaped acres, the home includes: eleven bathrooms, four fireplaces, an elevator, 135 surround-sound speakers, and a wine cellar, as well as an elegant, high-ceilinged grand salon and a spacious home office.
