db Orthopedic Physical Therapy, PC is the solo private practice of David Bertone, PT, OCS. Mr. Bertone has 21 years of experience and specializes in Orthopedic rehabilitation and resolution of musculoskeletal problems. Mr. Bertone is also one of only eight physical therapists in Monmouth County to be Board certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and a Diplomat by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. The practice philosophy is to provide consumers access to a physical therapist for cost effective, evidence based rehabilitation where the emphasis is ontreating the person and not the problem. This philosophy is supported by New Jersey Direct Access laws where consumers of NJ have the right to see a physical therapist without a referral from a physician. Therefore, musculoskeletal injuries can receive immediate care instead of waiting for a doctor’s visit, being prescribed medication and never receiving active rehabilitation or explanation of their injury and how to prevent it from occurring again.
We also have an exclusive fitness program called GRAVITY. This fitness program utilizes the GTS machine, choreographed to heart pumping music and led by a certified GRAVITY instructor. This 45 min class is for all fitness levels and can accommodate 4 people at one time during the class. We also offer personalized fitness training, sports performance enhancement and plyometric jump training under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
