At Advanced Body Rehabilitation Center, it’s all about one-on-one attention for owner Dr. Brigitte Soltesz, who sees her patients as more than just another anonymous face walking through the door for treatment. “We create a familial atmosphere where patients become our friends,” says Dr. Soltesz. “It’s not just a job.We take pride in it.We take it personally. We take care of them and make them feel better.”
Patients have been coming to Advanced Body Rehabilitation for the past seven years to be treated by Dr. Soltesz and her partner, Tom Ulrich, for a variety of needs. The duo makes sure they come up with the right diagnosis of their patients’ problems before starting the proper treatment.
As a former athlete, Tom knows all about sports injuries and he has experience taking care of athletes of all ages. “I do mostly manual therapy. I am a hands on guy,” says Tom, who has over two decades of experience. “I can help with chronic pain, spinal issues, knee problems, soft tissue injuries.”
At the same time Dr. Soltesz uses her chiropractic skills to help her patients but in a more gentle fashion. “I loosen up the muscle first,” says Dr. Soltesz, who also emphasizes hands on physical therapy in her treatment regiments, including a lot stretching. “There is not a lot of twisting. It’s not as physical.”
Dr. Soltesz and Tomalso take advantage of the newest technology to help their patients feel better. They use Quantum laser therapy, which helps with acute and chronic conditions as well as pain and inflammation. They also use electromagnetic field (EMF) therapy - a non-invasive treatment which works with the magnetic field in body to take down inflammation. There is no pain involved with this simple procedure, and a few treatments have proven effective for many conditions.
Yet no matter if a patient is coming in for a work-related injury or recovering from surgery, Dr. Soltesz and Tom, along with their staff of physical therapists, do everything they can to make their patients feel better in an at-home, relaxed atmosphere. To make visits more convenient for patients, Advanced Body Rehabilitation Center is open six days a week.
