Finding the perfect piece of artwork to display in your home or business can be a difficult task. Perhaps you are looking for the perfect piece to complement your collection, or would like to begin amassing a brand new collection altogether. At Balbabyan Art Gallery in Colts Neck, you will find their expertise in art that pre-dates the 20th century to be unmatched, and their service to be exemplary as well. “I specialize in art from the late 19th century and earlier, and offer unique knowledge in many different kinds of tastes to our customers,” Khatcha, owner and curator of Balbabyan Art Gallery, says. Khatcha routinely travels to Europe to locate artwork that fits his pre-20th century focus. Every piece of art that he collects and sells is the original. “I do not sell any replicas. I believe in featuring and offering the original copy in the best condition as possible,” he says.
Balbabyan Art Gallery takes tremendous care of their artwork and uses effective restoration techniques to ensure the quality of their pieces is never compromised. They also offer restoration services to the public. “We use proven methods and techniques that do not damage the artwork in any way. Some modern approaches with chemicals may not be as safe since we don’t know the effects it can have on the painting 100 years later. We take the utmost care with the art,” Khatcha says.
Balbabyan Art Gallery also has their form of a broker service that will seek out specific, authentic frames to match the time period of any work painting to add to its intrinsic value. “If you have a 17th century painting, we will find a frame from that era that is the right size. We can find any number of artwork pieces to add to your collection, too,” he says.
If you enjoy viewing sculptures, paintings, and other various works of art from a less contemporary time period, or need some additions or touch-ups to your masterpieces, contact Khatcha at Balbabyan Art Gallery and find out why they “specialize in phenomenal.”
