Baymar Farms has been family owned and operated since 1970, and offers a unique combination of a year-round riding academy, boarding, training, horse sales, riding programs, rated horseshows, schooling horseshows and more. "We offer a state - of-the-art facility with a family oriented environment for all of our programs," says camp director Ellie Smith. "We keep the farm modern and up-to-date through constant improvements. Baymar Farms offers every aspect of riding for the horse enthusiast. Our spacious indoor arena can be used for riding lessons in inclement weather, indoor horseshows and birthday parties."

Baymar Farms specializes in meeting the needs of riders of all ability levels, and takes special care to make even the most novice horse riders comfortable. They provide beginning riders with a firm foundation of riding principles to take them to any level of riding they are looking for. So whether you're striving to be become a competitive rider, or just learning how to ride for pleasure, they have the perfect program for you.

Baymar Farms is also the originator of the summer riding program, which runs from June to August and offers before and after-care for working parents. "We have been conducting our riding program since 1970," Smith says. "It is for children from the ages of 7 to 16, and perfect for the first time beginner to the competitive equestrian. Your child will be placed in a group by age and ability, and will advance individually within that group. Your children will learn to ride and care for horses in a safe and fun atmosphere."

Riders will enjoy two lessons a day, and hands-on learning exercises to teach them all about grooming, saddling English, saddling western, lunging and more. Baymar Farms will also teach you how to take care of their horses by learning about the feeding program. Opportunities to observe a farrier and veterinarians at work on their beautiful animals are also available.

"We welcome visitors to the farm anytime," Smith says. "Let our family here at Baymar Farms help you to reach your equestrian dreams and make them a reality."
