When Central Jersey Radiologists opened in 1984, not only were they the first MRI facility in Monmouth County, but the  first in the entire state of New Jersey as well. Over the last 27 years, Central Jersey Radiologists have prided themselves on  offering unique and cutting-edge medical service to the surrounding communities. “We were also the first MRI site to offer a  High Field Open MRI in the county area.We now have two open MRI units, which give as good of a result as any closed  one,” manager Jill Bear says. Open MRI procedures are typically more comfortable for patients than the traditional closed  ones, and Central Jersey Radiologists has always focused on treating their patients with the utmost respect and care. “Our entire staff and facility is very patient-friendly.We cater to everyone’s needs, and we will never, ever turn down a stat  patient,” Bear says. With two closed MRI, and two open field MRI machines at their disposal, referral appointments can  usually be scheduled within 24 hours.

Since Central Jersey Radiologists is owned by board certified radiologists, who were formerly part of the reading groups for various area hospitals, you can count on professional treatment and accurate results for every exam. As Jill notes, “Our team has over 50 years of experience in radiology.” But the quality care doesn’t end at MRIs. Central Jersey Radiologists were also  the first to feature a full-ring PET/CT scanner in Monmouth County. This newer apparatus combines the traditional scans  into one, allowing physicians to pinpoint where metabolic changes are occurring in a patient’s body. CT scans, bone density,  and Nuclear Medicine services are offered as well. “All of our equipment is accredited by the American College of Radiology,  and this month, we will be featuring ultrasound equipment too,” Bear says.

Since they have been providing exceptional medical service to the Monmouth County area for almost three decades, Central Jersey Radiologists have established a strong rapport with many of the local physicians who refer them. When you are in need of a medicali maging appointment, ask your primary care doctor about CentralJer sey Radiologists.
