When it comes to finding the newest piece of art for your collection, few places are better suited than the Chetkin Gallery in Red Bank. Don and Carol Lynn Chetkin established the gallery in 1987, and for 22 years they have conducted business in the same location. What makes the gallery special  is that it is the only gallery in New Jersey that provides investment-caliber artwork by internationally renowned artists. Don and Carol represent more than 36 established artists, and have an extensive inventory in their two-story gallery space.

With artists from France, Italy, England, Poland, Spain, and China, the gallery’s offerings are diverse in subject matter and rich in color. The gallery focuses on contemporary Impressionism, with splashes of post-Impressionist and modern influences. Chetkin’s artists paint a variety of subjects,  including landscapes, seascapes, city scenes, figurative, floral, and still-life paintings.

Don’s and Carol’s philosophy is to provide their clients the finest quality and highest caliber of original one-of-a-kind oil paintings by established international artists. “It is always a pleasure to assist clients in acquiring the right painting for their art collection, whether they are firsttime buyers or  seasoned collectors,” says Carol. “We also provide art consultation for both residential and corporate accounts, whether selecting one or several works of art.”

Chetkin Gallery is a family-oriented business where the staff welcomes you in as if it was a home. Don’s and Carol’s goal is to make their clients’ visits inviting, comfortable, and enjoyable. With their extensive knowledge of art and the artists they represent, they are able to convey stories of each  artist and piece, and explain the techniques and styles used.

Even if you are not ready to buy, take the time to stop by the gallery because, in addition to Chetkin’s current collection, they feature four or five exhibits per year. The Chetkins will be happy to guide you through their gallery and help you make the right art purchase for your tastes and needs.
