Whether it’s a romantic meal for two with a nice bottle of wine or a quick bite with the family, the Colts Neck Inn offers the perfect dinner destination. The Inn is one of the most historic restaurants in New Jersey, having been in existence since 1717, and for over 35 years the family-owned and operated locationhas takenpr ide ink nowing their customers ona first name basis.
“We pride ourselves in being open before franchises and well after,” says General Manager George Mavrookas. “I am the third generation in my family to work here and be involved in the daily business. We have had a successful business here for years and plan on keeping it that way.”
The Inn can seat up to 150 guests at one time in its full bar and restaurant. Additionally, it makes a great setting for a special occasion or business function, with banquet facilities able to accommodate up to 250 people.
One of the things that makes the Inn so successful is its dedication to its guests. “We are hard working and are constantly striving to get better. We are constantly focused on pleasing our customers and delivering a product that they are pleased with and want to continuously come back for,” says George, who has been the GM for two years. “We try to deliver a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.”
Guests know to expect the best when they visit the Colts Neck Inn, which has won numerous awards for delicious steaks. However, if you are not int he mood for a sirloinor fillet, there is a great selection of salads, appetizers and sandwiches to go along with the chicken, seafood and pasta entrees.
If you are looking for a fun night out, stop by the Inn on Friday or Saturday night for live music from 9 PM-1 AM. And don’t forget about Happy Hour on Monday-Friday from 3 PM-6 PM when you can enjoy $2.00 domestic draft beers and 1/2 price drinks, but then every hour at the Colts Neck Inn is guaranteed to be a happy one.
