Dr. David Carotenuto, O.D.
“The Courtyard”
27 Highway 34, PO Box 489
Colts Neck, NJ 07722-0489

Dr. David Carotenuto, of Family Vision Health Center, is a graduate of New York College of Optometry and a seventeen-year veteran in his specialty. He is also a former educator, who brings his experience working with children and adolescents to his practice to offer eye care designed with all family members in mind.
His mission statement, posted on one wall of his sunny waiting room, reads "Our mission is to provide the highest quality of vision care while keeping the patients’ well being and satisfaction our utmost priority." Dr. Carotenuto implements this creed with his "willingness to work with each individual patient, spending the time to listen and meet that patient’s specific needs."
Dr. Carotenuto diagnoses and treats nearly every medical eye disease and fits disposable, daily, extended wear and bifocal contact lenses. Each prescription is specially crafted in the optical lab, checked for accuracy, and adjusted for maximum comfort. In addition, Family Vision Health Center provides its patients services ranging from the simple treatment of pink eye and particles in the eye to the treatment of glaucoma and pre-operative and post-operative care of laser and cataract surgery. Dr. Carotenuto is assisted at Family Vision by three staff members, each with over ten years of experience in the field.
Each patient can expect expert care from Dr. Carotenuto and his experienced staff. "Our specialty is listening to patients and taking care of their needs. We want to make sure that every patient is satisfied and we will go above and beyond to make sure of that," said Dr. Carotenuto.
