“We take the client’s image of their dream event and turn it into a reality, creating the most memorable affair imaginable,” says Sharon Stevenson, founder/president of Only Perfect Parties (OPP). That’s why, for the last 18 years, Sharon and her staff have been able to stay on the cutting edge of what is new and exciting in the event industry, bringing a sophisticated and fresh flavor to the local event planning scene.
OPP offers two different planning options. The first is complete event planning and coordination services, and the second focuses on design, décor, and details, developed for those who need theme development, décor, entertainment, and event extras. This enables OPP to either go from concept to completion, coordinating each and every detail of an event, or simply designing and producing an event. Either way, they are on site the day of the event, from early morning or, in some cases, even the day before, coordinating all of the vendors and design installation, and ensuring that each and every detail is completely choreographed and set in place.
Prior to opening OPP, Sharon was the special event director for a major restaurant and real estate group in New York City, and handled events like the NBA Draft, Grammy and Tony Awards post-production parties, movie premieres, and major high society affairs. Sharon brings more than 25 years of event planning, design, and production experience with her. She is aided by Deneille Alvoeiro, her daughter and company vice president, who has been involved in the business since she was 12; Sharon’s niece, Rachael Chamberlain, is the event coordinator.
“Clients will always deal with the owner, not a hired salesperson, who will actually design, produce, and attend each event we plan. I feel this guarantees the personal attention that each and every client and event deserves,” says Sharon.
OPP prides itself on creating unique and stylish events with a particular flair. They never produce the same event twice, guaranteeing their clients a one-of-a-kind event that they can truly call their own. Clients are assured that their event goals will be met while staying within their budget.
