Peter Grandich, Trinity Financials Sports & Entertainment Management Co., LLC.Log on to www.TrinityFSEM.com for a chance to win this framed Sports Illustrated cover signed by Super Bowl XLII “Helmet Catch” sensation David Tyree of the NY Giants, valued at $500.
In 1987, Peter Grandich was dubbed “The Wall Street Whiz Kid” by Good Morning America because with no formal education or training at the age of 31 he made some almost unbelievable markets predictions that unfortunately came to pass. He has since gone on to be regarded as one of the world’s foremost market and economic experts. Yet, according to Grandich, he is the most improbable of candidates.
“I didn’t grow up in an educated family; my parents didn’t introduce me to Wall Street or investing at an early age; we didn’t even have much money. In essence, I am probably the most unlikely person to be called The Wall Street Whiz Kid,” he says.
Over the past 25 years, however, he’s lived up to the name. Grandich is Chief Commentator of Agoracom.com, North America’s largest online small-cap investment center, where tens of thousands of people follow his daily blog at grandich.agoracom.com. His uncannily-accurate ability to analyze and forecast financial happenings has resulted in hundreds of media interviews including the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, New York Times, Business News Network and dozens more. He also speaks at investment conferences around the globe.
Yet with all the accolades, Grandich is still happiest when he’s working at home here in Monmouth County. He is principal of Trinity Financial Sports& Entertainment Management Co., LLC., a firm he started with former NY Giant and two-time Super Bowl champion Lee Rouson. Trinity Financial is an advisory firm that helps individuals reach their financial goals, and has an exclusive sports division to help meet the unique needs of professional athletes and entertainers.
A humble and truly philanthropic man, he says, “The most rewarding part of my work is giving back to the community.”
On September 11, Grandich will be honored during the FealGood Charity Ball at Trump National Golf Club for his work helping 9/11 Ground Zero first responders.
“It’s an American tragedy that has gripped my heart,” says Grandich of the plight of the World Trade Center responders. “Of the 40,000 people who responded to Ground Zero after the attacks, 70 percent are sick, dying, or have already died as a result of their 9/11-related illnesses.”
Grandich, along with his friend and Trinity Financial Corporate Advisory Board member Joe Klecko, are working to help raise funds for the FealGood Foundation, a non-profit that advocates for the responders.
According to Grandich, it is likely that more people will eventually die as a result of the clean-up of Ground Zero than those who perished in the actual attacks. To date, over 800 first responders have died.
“Sadly, our government has turned their backs of these brave men and women. It is up to us as Americans to come to their aid,” he says.
