Red Bank Gastroenterology is a medical group specializing in state-of-the-art management of diseases affecting the liver and  gastrointestinal (GI) tract of adults. The office has been caring for patients in the greater Monmouth County area for over  25 years. Each of the eight physicians is fellowship trained and board certified in both internal medicine and  gastroenterology, and several of these doctors have undergone advanced training in specialized endoscopic techniques.

The practice offers out-patient care for all gastrointestinal disorders, preventative health maintenance, screening for  malignancies of the liver and GI tract, and acute in-patient hospital care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Most endoscopic  procedures, such as colonoscopies, are available at their newly renovated ambulatory facility, Endoscopy Center of Red  Bank. The expertise of the doctors and staff covers the entire spectrum of gastrointestinal issues.

The group also offers an Open Access colonoscopy option for screening colonoscopies. This program was designed to  provide patients with a time and money saving option through the elimination of a pre-procedure consultation. Open Access colonoscopy is for asymptomatic patients between 45-65 years of age, who are generally in good health. A health  assessment will be conducted by one of their registered nurses to determine if the patient is suited for an Open Access colonoscopy prior to being scheduled. Patients who prefer to have office consultations prior to the procedure will always be  offered that option.

“The business of healthcare is increasingly complex; we strive to provide our patients with top quality clinical care,  education regarding insurance related issues, all with a personal touch,” says Donna Spring, Director of Operations. “The  physicians and staff are committed to offering patients the highest level of care in a safe, respectful, caring, and supportive  environment.”
