The Colts Neck Inn is well known for its award-winning steaks. But now, it will also be recognized as one of the premier locations in all of  New Jersey to hold a formal event, thanks to the recent renovation of the Grand Ballroom at this historic Monmouth County location.

After its spectacular transformation, the new Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests for one event, or split into two rooms, so  different functions can take place simultaneously. The space features a ceiling stretching to nearly 20 feet, as well as a new floor, new  moldings and chair rails and new chandeliers and light fixtures. For all who enter, the new Ballroom creates an ambience of stately elegance.

The renovation included the installation of new technology to assist in having a state of the art affair at Colts Neck Inn. New items include  a fully integrated audio-visual system (complete with wireless microphones), satellite radio, an mp3 docking station, CD player, DVD player  and four plasma hook-ups for meetings or slide shows. And, to give you the space you need to party the night away, the DJ booth and  balcony were raised 15 feet above the dance floor!

“The room has a much different feel,” says general manager George J. Mavrookas. “There are lighter colors, and with the higher ceilings it  gives the room a much more updated and classical look while incorporating all the technology of 2011 with a timeless ballroom  atmosphere.”

There is much more than just the Grand Ballroom that will make you want to consider the Colts Neck Inn for your event. You will find  outstanding customer service and fabulous food combined with nearly 40 years of experience. “Our reputation precedes us,” says George.  “We pride ourselves in paying attention to detail no matter how big or small the event may be. We host weddings, showers, sweet sixteens,  birthday parties and Bar Mitzvahs. There is pretty much no event that we cannot handle. “
