Weigh In - What Would People Be Surprised To Know About You?

Perhaps you have a hidden talent, a secret past...

Perhaps you have a hidden talent, a secret past, or an unusual profession? Are you addicted to a certain TV show or have a crush on someone famous? Living In Colts Neck headed off to find out just what your friends and others would be surprised to find out about you.

It turns out that quite a few of you don’t have anything to hide – your friends know everything there is to know about you either because you are very verbal or because you just don’t feel that anything you do is out of character. But it seems the rest of you are quite  a talented and unusual bunch.

Let’s start with body parts. We saw a tongue to rival that of Gene Simons of KISS; several super bendable arms, fingers, and legs; hands that fit into mouths; and feet that wrapped around a neck! Very impressive… but only one of you would let us photograph your  flexibility. Many of you professed to be excellent cooks, dancers, and singers, but sadly you have been keeping those talents hidden from everyone except your close family members. Several people were in unusual or unexpected careers. We met an organic chemist, a  young mom who worked for ESPN, and a former sponsored BMX rider who now moonlights as a waiter. Guys and women surprised us as well; we met a gun dealer who looked like a model and a marathon runner who got a rifle for her 14th birthday! Sarah Palin would  certainly be pleased! A couple of you shyly admitted to crushes on the Jonas Brothers, and even going to their concerts. A bigger surprise was that more than one trendy young woman was hooked on the Discovery Channel’s show, “The Deadliest Catch”…and they themselves didn’t even fish.

Hands down our favorite answer was from a fast-walking woman who said, “I’m 81 years old, I’m still kicking, and I still drink Tequila!” And she barely stopped long enough to let us get her photo. We never got to find out if she drinks it in a margarita or straight up  with lime and salt! Cheers!
